Somat Close-Coupled Pulping Systems are stand-alone units comprised of a pulper directly connected to a Hydra-Extractor®. These pulpers provide an economic and efficient answer to cutting the high and ever increasing costs associated with waste handling. Somat Pulping Systems are engineered to reduce foodservice waste volume by an 8 to 1 reduction (up to 85%.) Close Coupled Pulping Systems provide a solution for reducing waste volume at the collection source in situations where facility constraints doesn’t permit more centralized waste collection.

Somat Remote Pulping Systems offer maximum flexibility. A remote system connects food prep and scrapping areas together through a series of piping and transports food service waste to a remotely located extractor. The extractor removes the solids (pulp) and recirculates the water back to the grinding tanks. The pulp is fed into a Somat Dehydrator for additional reduction or directly into a haul away container. A remote pulping system reduces the need for trash cans, liners and laborers to “take out the trash.”

Master Foodwaste Disposers are the workhorse of the disposer field. With tough powder coated castings, “severe-duty” motors and bulletproof design, Master Disposers are made to last, providing trouble-free waste removal year after year. Auto-reversing panels within the disposer units double the life of wearing parts, and help to free obstructions automatically.
